Does the Project keep the collected items in the Museum?
Yes and no, we only keep the items for the digitisation and archiving period. Once archived and digitised, we return the materials to their owner(s)lock, stock, and barrel.
Does the open-access platform protect the materials from any illegal use?
The items are published in good resolution for website presentation but cannot be reprinted. A higher resolution should be used.
Does the project have any conservation/preservation activities?
The Project often returns the items in specialized free-acid boxes and files that ensure the protection and preservation of the items.
Does the museum use the digital copy for any commercial use?
The Museum only uses the materials for non-commercial purposes such as exhibitions, publications, and social media.
Is there a digitization fees?
The Project digitises and archives all the materials for free.
